Dry Container / GP
The dry container is a type of standard shipping or cargo container that is used to load dry and non-temperature-sensitive shipment. It is also known as a general purpose (GP) container. These containers are typically available in 20 feet (TEU) and 40 feet (FEU) size, although there are other options such as high cube and many other variations. The containers are made of strong steel to resist wind, rain and saltwater. They have a sturdy construction that can withstand the rigors of international shipping.
Refrigerated Container / Reefer
The refrigerated container is a shipping container used in intermodal freight transport that is capable of refrigeration during the transportation. It is also called a reefer container. The reefer container is a big fridge used for goods that need to be temperature controlled during shipping. Reefer containers have the ability to maintain the cargo at the required temperatures as in chilled, frozen or in controlled temperatures for the duration of the transit. Cargoes are temperature-sensitive, perishable cargo such as fruits, vegetables, meat, non-food products like flowers, pharmaceuticals and other similar items. Reefer containers are equipped with a refrigeration unit that is connected to the power supply on board the ship.
Tank Container / ISO Tank
The tank container is basically cylindrical vessels held within a standard 20 feet ISO frame. It is designed, tested, and approved for the safe, economical and efficient transportation of a broad range of liquid products. It is also called an ISO tank. The tank container is used to ship and store hazardous and non-hazardous products such as liquids, powders, and gasses. There are various types of tank container and depending on what they are used for dictates the type of unit required. The tank is made of stainless steel, with insulation, as well as a protective layer of aluminum or polyurethane.
Special Container / Flat Rack
The special container does not have any roof or walls. This makes loading cargo of various sizes and shapes quick and convenient. It is also known as a flat rack. The flat rack is used to ship and store out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo such as machinery, timbers, pipes, vehicles and any cargo that cannot fit into a standard dry container. The advantage is loading and unloading goods is faster and easier and the goods weight is higher.
Office Containers
The office container is a modular office and a cost effective workspace converted from a shipping container. Office containers are modular prefabricated offices that comes in 20 feet, 40 feet or joining a few containers together to provide office space by adding partitions, ceilings and floors, and office furniture.

TA ASIA Logistics Pte Ltd in 1994, seeing the growth of container repairing industry in the late 80s, moved into supplying container spare parts to local container depots and eventually has a market share of more than 80%. It expanded its regional sales on trading of container spare parts in the South East Asia region.

TA ASIA now provides the sales and rental of shipping containers, refrigerated containers, offshore containers, storage containers, workshop containers, special containers and tank containers. Our company also provides container depot services and freight services through our worldwide network.
TA ASIA also provide the modification, fabrication and conversion of shipping containers into office containers, workshop containers, refrigerated containers and various DNV Standards Containers & Baskets for industry requirements.
